I'M IN LOVE!!!!!!!!

As some know I purchased a 300S last week but have very little time to shoot it with work, family and weather. I had to work today and since my wife is helping with vacation bible school this week me and Fido have the run of the place and can do as we please. So this afternoon we decided to shoot the 300.

It was sighted in at 50' so today I wanted to shoot it at 25 yards. Since I only had a few JSB Exact 7.33's I started with CPHP 7.9's and got it pretty close on a single bull target then moved to the six bull target.

Targets 1 & 2 were shot first with the Crosmans, then 4,5 and the in the top portion of 6 with the JSB's a small adjustment was made between them, wrong adjustment on 6. When it didn't move as much as I needed I made a big (wrong way) adjustment as can be seen on #3. The group is right at the end of the notation "sight adjustments" on the target. I was shooting at the bottom (#3) left bull and the group is in the lower part of middle left (#2) bull. Still shooting at #3 I started making the correct adjustments and finished with the group near the center of bull #6.

These are 5 shot groups shot at 25 yards off bags with the factory peep sights.

Hi! Bad Dart, I too picked up a 300s LG at the Midwest A/G show a couple of weeks ago and I'm' lovin' mine also !! I have refinished the stock and worked on the sledge to make it work as it should. I can hardly believe how well this thing shoots being a PCP shooter but I had a hankering for a spring-er so I tried to find a 300s as they have such a GREAT reputation. I have tried about 6 different pellets in this thing and it will shoot anything you put in it with unbelievable accuracy!! I even shot it at 40 yards one windless night and it shoots fantastic!! Shooting in the basement at ten meters off a bag it will shoot one tiny hole the size of a .177 pellet!! All I can say is these rifles are amazing !! Have fun with YOUR new toy as I sure am!!! J.L.

I'm going to be completley honest, I bought mine so I could shoot Oldspooks ten dimes challenge clean. After many attempts with my 48 and 34 it was obvious I wasn't going to do it with one of them.

The original plan was to put a scope on the 300 but seeing how it'll shoot with peep sights I'll color the dime size portion of the target with a magic market so I can see it and give it a go. If I can't do it with peep sights then I'll put a scope on and shoot it clean. For now I'm on hold waiting on pellets.

Yes I too blame Joe and his videos for me wanting a 300, he makes shooting well look so easy, lol. Prior to buying this rifle I had already bought a LH stock for one as I had made up my mind to buy one. The rifle I bought came with both a RH and LH stock, so the plan was to shoot it in both LH stocks, keep the one I liked best and sell the other. Well after shooting this thing that paln went out the window as a new plan quickly developed. Keep both LH stocks and just buy another rifle! If having one accurate rifle is good isn't having two better?

See what you started Joe!!! Now which hole did that rabbit run in?

I'm can't give Joe or some of these other guys with 300's any competition. I'm trying pellets to see what shoots best, and have five tins of different pellets ordered to go with the four tins I recieved yesterday.

I did shoot some this AM with AA 7.87, 25 yards, 5 shots each group and peep sights off bags. There was a slight sight adjustment after each of the top two groups. I posted the entire target and then the money shot. Overall it's not very impressive and the rifle has shot JSB 7.33's better on average. The wind was light and variable, mostly from my 12 o'clock. I have a lot to learn about shooting peep sights, lol.
