Iguana hunt with Airgun Evolution and Iguana Solutions

What great fun! Hey, what the diff between a Spiny-Tailed Iguana and a regular one? Are they a different Species? Bigger? Or, just a variation of the same iquanas?

@davidsng Jessica stated that they’re a different genus (I didn’t commit the Latin name to memory) than the green ones. She also mentioned that spiny-tailed iguanas are omnivores as opposed to their herbivorous relatives. She says she’s baited some w/chicken to trap them and that they’ll eat each other, birds, rats, etc.

@Orion Thanks for sharing. I really like the clarity and quality of your cam footage. Good shooting! You paired up with some folks that have created great and educational airgun content on YouTube.

Yea, I guess I missed that the first time. I watched the video the 2nd time. Thx

That looks like a great day! Thanks for sharing, and nice to see The Element used to it's potential as a shooting platform!

The Element is the main hunting gear, without it everything is more difficult, it's equipped with everything you need also, Steve is crazy

I have an Element as well, although not as shiny as Steve's. It is an incredible shooting, hunting, and adventure platform-inconspicuous and functional. And yes, Steve is crazy...in the best possible way. Looking forward to you getting him and those rowdy Whiskey68 boys together for an iguana hunt. Keep it up and thank you!

Good question. I sure didn’t know. I thought maybe they grew spike as they aged.

The spiny tailed don't grow as big as the green Iguanas, and I think that's a good thing because those things are mean, if they reach the green Iguanas size ufff real Velociraptor from Jurassic Park.

They are aggressive, Jessica was telling me they can charge at you! The one I killed on the video was one of the biggest one Jessica has seen, and you can see how tough that thing was. I put a Hades on the head at around 30 yards and I rolled over, it came back on standing for a second until it pass out after a few seconds.

When I was taking the pictures, it was still moving, very prehistoric animals... Those spiny had my respect...
