If you own a Royale 400 and want to save some cheese

Tip of the day. If you have a Royale 400 22 cal and want some cheap extra magazines, the Hatsan Flash and Flashpup magazines work in a Royale just fine. They cost $18 each as opposed to the robbery that FX performs when you want extra magazines. I don't know about the 177 or 25 cal because I don't have one. but the 22 mags are good.

Really helpful tip, the .25 mags will work for both .22 and .25 as well. As far as the robbery for us up here anyways the FX mags are 60-65 while the Daystate ones are 120!! That's not just robbery thats rape.

Glem,

That's the sad part about Daystate, I can either get a Carbon Tank for traveling around or 3 magazines. None of the mags are exactly rocket science, and with CNC manufacturing, those should be around $35-$40 bucks retail, the plastic ones even less, IMHO. I know I'd have three or more, but at those prices I can reload the one. PCP isn't cheap that's for sure.

It stinks that the price for some of the items in our sport are at a premium - especially when very similar items are priced far cheaper. Unfortunately it is what it is - the price to play. We could all start throwing stones instead. Of course someone will come up with a special stone, from a particular place, smoothed in a special way and in the perfect shape. We will all want that stone because it is "better" and we are going to pay for it.

Yeah, the $80 is a bit much. Daystate mags are expensive too but there’s more engineering in them. The Crown and Impact mags look like better made versions of mrod mags. lol
