If you only had 1 Airgun to keep ...

which one would it be and why?

I have several PCPs and a few springers and if I were to choose just one, I'd go nuts!

However, if push came to shove, it would be my Wildcat .25. Here's why:
  • Light, easy to shoulder
  • Easiest magazine to load
  • Accurate out to 100yrds
  • Powerful
  • Shoot ready out of the box
  • Fun and relaxing to shoot ... trouble free
How bout you?

My .30 Flex. Its powerful, efficient, accurate, and quiet. I can take anything I want in the woods with it. Furthermore, although the WAR internals are unique, they're built to the same size specs as Benjamin Marauder parts. I have lots of spare Marauder parts. If I ever had to cobble internals together in an emergency to keep the gun shooting, I could.

Wow, I didn't know that about the Flex... and I have benji parts hangin' around. Hmm ...

Yep. The Flex's tube is the same diameter ad the Marauder's and they cut the same holes and threads in it. The aftermarket WAR valves and regulators that Jim Gaska builds for the Marauder are the same ones he puts in the Flex. Same thing with the Cothran Power valve for the Marauder. It also drops right into the Flex, except the Cothran uses a different transfer port. In fact, the WAR Cobra regulator can screw right into a Marauder and convert the Marauder into a bottle gun.

Because I have fun prepping for "what if" scenarios, I like the fact that if my WAR valve ever died and I was depending on the gun as a game getter here on my farm, I could drop my Cothran or even a Marauder valve in and make the gun functional.

Maybe the scenario is that my wife has had it and makes me sell everything except one . . . . . .

That's hard.

I've put a whole 30 rounds through an Impact but I think that's what I'd go for. Short, compact, powerful, accurate, versatile, incredible trigger, no electronics (just haven't gotten over that bridge of an electronic gun yet), and I can get multiple calibers if I want.

Expensive solution? Absolutely, but If I could only have one, and price was no object, . . . . . .

.30 FX Bobcat Mk2, accurate, efficient, powerful, and looks great. Because it looks like this:

And can do this with a 9 shot magazine at 52 yards.

And lets face it, the Bobcat is one bad ass air rifle!
;)
Below is my competition! He’s a better hunter than any of us. Prefers rabbits over squirrels... The REAL Bobcat Mk0
