Ideas for Pellet Tin Storage Rack

those wire rack shelving kits for closets work very well ... they come in many configurations and sizes and hold quite a bit of weight ..

I want a giant PEZ dispenser, preferably one that looks like Joe Wayne Rhea.

While not nice enough for a wall display, I second the idea of an inexpensive wire rack. That's what I use in the garage for 'overflow'



Inside the house I use a similar metal rack, the shelves of which are like 14"x14". I think it may have been sold and used as a shoe rack, but we replaced it with something else in its original location, so it was 'available' for other uses.

Im building one using 2, 21/2, 3 and 4” pvc pipe sections cut in 1/2 laterally. The shelf part can be anything from a lag bolt to a piece of wood roundsd and secured or a flat strip even, havent decided. Easily covered or painted, can be mounted to anything really and made to any size. I might cut only the bottom tin height to 1/2 and the rest to like 2/3, so it can act as a dispenser. 

TMH, My gosh. I thought my 30-40 tin stash was excessive. How long does all that lead last for you!!! Looks like an awesome assortment too. 

I second the PEZ dispenser. But PVC pipe sounds easier. Or how about an old CD rack with alternate shelves removed. 

I use an old Kennedy side box. The interior is just some extra wood I had made into shelf’s. Plenary strong and can be locked if desired.

Got 2 sets of these cabinets at Valu. One for pellets, the other ne has bins for storage of assorted airgun stuff among other things. I added the shelf parts later to hold targets, tools and whatnot although they don't show in the pic.

Top left is .20, top right is .25, middle 2 are all .22 and bottom 2 are all .177.

Looking at some of your pics I’m asking myself “ pellet shortage what pellet shortage”?

Mine started out just being .25, then .22. The rest came about after a couple in .177, then an interest in .20 and buying 8 rifles in the caliber, so mine has taken 6 years to get where it is...lol. Only bought in bulk a couple times, once from Amazon when they had H&N Sniper Mediums for $3.64 a tin and PA when they had a crazy deal on the .177 Baracuda Hunters. The rest has been 2-4 here, 2-4 there, buying from forum members. Some from Ebay.

Storage was another issue...lol. Those cabinets, 3 wall racks to fit 9 (I have a 4 but not a big enough wall to put it on..lol), gun cases both hard case and soft for the better rifles. I have assorted stuff scattered in a few places...lol.

tho it will only hold 84 small tins the Kiwi is one of the coolest

Those huge pellet stashes are nice. Are you sure you will live long enough to shoot them all?
