I knew about Tungsten. What I don’t fully understand is why rifle bullets are legal to own with Tungsten core when hand gun rounds are not. I get smaller, concealed, able to penetrate a vest.
There’s a lot of firearms technology crossing over to airguns. FX Smooth Bore Twist. I thought he was ingenious but I read the technology is over 200 years old. I’ve been communicating with an Engineer and he’s saying how choked barrels mess up his slugs. I see the inconsistencies in a lot of pellets.
My Benchmark barrel will literally put hole in hole at 100 yards in no wind with JSB 18.13’s. Consider though it utilizes a .215” bore and .213” choke. It can’t shoot any slugs unless I’d cast my own special .213-.215” ones or swage 2 steps down, at least on .217’s.
I’m really thinking about cutting LW choke off 24” Condor, and having inleade reamed for proper seating/engagement. One dedicated pellet and one no choked slug barrel.

.217” is hard to seat and significant light/air gap. I’d like shallower less invasive rifling. Not STX but just less deep.  6-12 L&G works great for pellets but seems 3-6 is in now.
