I would not assume that
Just like in the USA just costs more if you're not supposed to have something.
I would not jump to that conclusion so fast. Local importers / distributors often times make a killing on certain products. For example; Air Arms, Daystate and BSA cost way more in the Netherlands than they do they in UK. Why? Dealer margins.
In Brazil where I live now, Weihrauch costs a factor 4 of what it does in Europe, yet Cometa is similarly priced............ A Hatsan 135 is twice the price of a Webley Patriot (yet, apart from the stock it is the same gun)

Hongkhoa , get a gun that is robust and that you can service yourself. For example, Dutch gun shops will often times not touch imported guns, even though this is against EU law. Or here in Brazil, PCPs are not a big thing, and gun shops here are super incompetent. If there is little local expertise, go for something sturdy and straight forward that you can service yourself. For that reason alone, I would not buy an FX, they are not known to be trouble free.
