I think I want a 22 Bullpup now

My choices are the EdGun R3M, Cricket compact or Hatsan Bully. I know I would have to do a little work on the Hatsan but it's probably the most powerful of the three. The R3M and Cricket are the most efficient and I figure accuracy is so close that it doesn't matter. Laugh if you want to hear me say Hatsans are as accurate as the higher-end guns, but I can attest that it's true.

If you don’t mind the wonkiness of inserting the mag on the cricket, it gets my vote in either standard or compact. Go for wood though as the synthetic stick weighs a ton. Reg is great, with the hst adjuster AOA sells you can dial the power down for plunking or up for hustling/longer range. Better trigger than the edgun IMO. The mag system is what keeps me from owning one ( have had several before), your mileage may vary. Good luck 😀

I have experience with Crickets and EdGuns. I have 3 Crickets (2 BPs and a rifle) and 2 EdGuns at this time and owned another Edgun that I traded away. That's the reason why they are the front runners. I agree that the magazine system on the Cricket is a pain. I'm leaning towards the cricket right now, but I will see.

the Kozak FC is a lot less $ than Cricket or Taipan, but accurate and eastern Europe quality

I had 2 Hatsans I am done with them, but that is my opinion,, like some brand of cars ,no more brand x for me(this is an airgun forum)

in the end , what do you like, what gives you that school boy grin, when you shoot it, if it is a Bully,, then Bully for you 😉

for me, I want a Sapsan by Zbroia

Norm,

I currently own the Nova Liberty on .22 but the other day I was thinking I want a .22 that is shorter, so I can use it as my backup gun. I'll see what I can do with the Liberty, I'm thinking maybe do a 3d print to make it a bullpup, will see, not sure 100% about this yet. If not I was thinking selling the Liberty down the road and buying my backup gun in .22, and I was looking into the P15. I know I'll need to put ton of work on that little precious but it can end up being a really nice alternative when I want to go light on gun and heavy on camera equipment.

I will tell you the best option. I know where there's a new Ataman 22 Bullpup for $700. They usually cost a lot more, so I'm sure it will be gone before I can buy it. Atamans are every bit as well made as EdGuns and Crickets. But I need to wait a few weeks before I buy another gun. If I had the $$ I would jump on it.

Call me odd but the tiny look of the Kral puncher bullpups look good and the price point.

I have a couple Hatsan and they are heavy.

My Bullboss feels heavier and less balanced than my Bulldog :(

I think Hatsan philosophy is "make it ugly make it heavy" the only exception was a Hatsan Nova that I remember seeing few months ago in a YouTube video but the rest... uffff not for me
