Its always been a delema for the hunter to find a place to hunt,

Use google to find anywhere that has a grain silo or a animal feed station, then use google earth to give a better idea of the area, use this information , dress smartly, be polite and introduce yourself to the property owner explaining how you might be able to reduce the damage and looses caused by vermin. It helps if you also have some sort of insurance. You may get turned down a few times but once you have gained one permission others are likely to follow.

There's a lot of farming and ranching south of Carson City. Near where the 50 coming down from Lake Tahoe meets the 395. The further south you go the more you'll see. Short drive from Tahoe except in snow.
