Cool, but won’t work for what I was looking for.

The Velcro goes from “32mm-50mm” allegedly. Simple Velcro & I never thought of it. I wouldn’t pay the asking price knowing where to get Velcro cheaper but I still need actual 50mm caps as I picked up a great deal at flea market.

Old Japanese Bushnell 8 to 24x 50mm Binoculars for $10.00 w/ case & full neck strap. They had the eyepiece covers but not the 2 50mm fronts.

The tri-pod is a model E12 Quick-Set Elevator Junior. It’s not perfect for stargazing but attachments can be bought & it does make a good spotter platform for Dad. $7.00!

So this is same Flea Market I found the a Bushnell Scope Chief. Guy asking $25.00. I only had $20, he would have gone $15.00 but I wanted the dozen vintage York Port Orford Cedar complete arrows. My 45lb vintage Grizzly loves them but 6 are good, 2 have lighter field points & 4 need points. Maybe I should have grabbed the scope chief because I can’t find him but arrows buddy would have held.

Yeah as far as optics go you never know. I’m not into FFP high end scopes. I’m thrilled when I find old Japanese scopes, El Paso Weavers. Keep on hoping for a T-10 or even a Kaspa. There’s brand new T36’s under $400. But fixed 36x means one thing only, BR at 200 or further. I loved my Hawke Airmax AMX 4x12x40 but realized eyepiece has slight play. You need either 40+tpi or glass etched reticle so I’m looking for a 1x6, fixed 4,6,10,12, 3x9 or 4x12 with glass etched 2ndFP. I could justify $300 in a SWFA to $1200.00
I’ve seen some GREAT deals listed on forums but a scope bought privately is something I’d want to look through & judge if I’d like. I think It’s between a SWFA SS or higher end, a Bushnell, or etched glass Hawke AMX, possibly 10x or 20x 1/2 mil dot.

if you know someone that has a 3D Printer, that is gonna be very easy and you don't have to waist a lot time searching and buying and gets frustrated when receiving it. I do loves old Japanese optics when I find one. It just have that thing that feels like finding a treasure.

Hey Fuce,

PM me & I’ll do for you what I do for 5 other guys. I go to Market & text them pictures, condition described up close, estimate value, sellers asking price & I haggle if possible. Pretty much anything you could ever need is there used or new.

last weekend an Archery Store was cleaning house. There were a dozen Easton carbon fiber 500 spine I would have put 4-5” Turkey feathers on. They had brand new Blazer vanes but I want more traditional feathered for longbow & these would have been for 45# recurve vintage Grizzly I got in pristine condition for $150.00 Anyway they were marked $43.00 & he says everything is 50% off of listed prices.

I’m literally stunned. I asked how can you afford to sell these so cheap? He said about store and making room for new inventory just blowing items out. I go back next day, can’t find him. Some come just on a Saturday or Sunday but not both. Great deals.
