I made me a Leshiy 2...

After getting a REPR upgrade for my Leshiy 2 I realized that I almost had enough parts to make a second Leshiy 2. So I did!

For the cost of about $750-800 I made a second Leshiy 2 for myself.

As crazy as it was I only needed to purchase the far back butt end, the receiver and the trigger group. And a couple of small parts. Bing bang boom - hello 2nd Leshiy 2.

Of course - as luck - and spending - would have it, my pre-order for the REPR from Brian came in. Along with that purchase I HAD to get a small butt air tube piece, the 300cc tank was in stock, and a Micarta grip (these are actually really really nice). There goes another $800 - gee thanks Brian! LOL

The final product is a 90 fpe beast with a .30 450mm LW barrel.

whats the other L2 setup as?

i'm currently working on a .30/.177 setup, but swapping barrels/butt stocks.

getting a whole other action would also require a whole other set of optics... maybe some day

I've tried several different setups with the Leshiy 2. .177 x 250mm - IMO the L2 sucks in .177 - too much air for too little barrel. .22 x 350mm LW barrel - I had to lap and polish but this barrel will shoot single hole groups at 40 yards on a good day. .30 x 450mm Alfa barrel - as much as I wanted to like this barrel I just couldn't get it to shoot pellets or slugs just right.

Current setups:

.22 x 600mm Alfa barrel - I got an excellent barrel here. I can shoot the JSB 18 @ 900 fps w only 70 on the reg. I can also crank the reg to 160 and shoot Apex Airgun 36 gr .219 boat tail slugs at 900 fps for 65 fpe. At that same setting the JSB 25gr redesign are shooting at 1050+ fps for around 65 fpe as well. All of these projectiles are very accurate out to 40 yards - I haven't had a chance to stretch them further.

.30 x 450mm LW barrel - after not having such a great experience with the Alfa barrel in .30 I opted to try out the LW and stick with just pellets. This barrel is very accurate with the JSB 44 and 50gr as well as the H&N 46gr (if you can find old stock on those)

Both sporting Pard NV008Ps lately.

Chris - I'm running 0.2mm/0.3mm nozzles and 160 bar. I tried 0.2mm/0.2mm and did get more power but air consumption was way too much. I just cranked it up to 200 bar and I'm getting 90 fpe with the 44.75gr and 93fpe with the 50gr pellets.

I was browsing eBay for Leshiy 2 stuff and I found this place in Russia that makes and ships Leshiy 2 barrels. They are stupid cheap so my expectations are low, but I ordered a single-shot 9mm/.357 barrel. But, I like the way it was machined for a single projectile to be loaded.
