I'm not one to post pics of groups, since it's just a picture of unknown origin and integrity. I've not been a fan of the FX liner/sleeve rifles, but love my old Royale 400 with the original, solid ST barrel. I'm not a long distance shooter, mostly 50 yards and under. The Royale has always been a MOA rifle at that range, and consistent. I shot this group yesterday at 50 yards, FX /JSB 18 pellet. There was no one with whom to share it, so here it is. The fact that I hit my POA was luck, I guessed at a 2 MOA holdover, which turned out to be right. That was not a good thing, as I don't like to shoot up my POA. Obviously, this is not a routine group, and I'd never claim otherwise, but it shows the dependability of this old rifle. Can't remember when the barrel was cleaned, but hardly ever. Sure wish FX would put some energy into a few small changes and put this rifle back in the mainstream.
