Just received another shipment of mounts & rings that won't work, for mounting a scope on my 1985 RWS/Diana mod. 36 air rifle. So, now I have a choice of building an arbor press, and learning how to bend the bbl. of this rifle or building an adjustable mount to com. for the bbl. droop, while waiting for an air rifle rated scope to be shipped from the left coast, that probably won't work when it get's here. Instead I think that I will try to find a Rws/Diana factory made aperture sight, and give up on scoping this rifle. I have a couple of "peep sights", but would like to find one made by the mfg. of the rifle. Anyone know where one might be found? Thanks.

Sorry to read that this is still a problem for you Lowell. I have only encountered it once, many years ago with any of my Diana rifles, but have read (WWW) about the problem arising more frequently for others.

My best advice is for you to post over on the Dianawerk Collective forum ( http://www.network54.com/Forum/184474 ) - there a lots of very experienced guys on there, all of whom are helpful and many own that particular model (I own neither the D34 or 36).

You dont have to to register to post there, but it is easy to join-up if you want.

Thanks for the information. I have applied to The Dianawerk Collective web site with at least fifty attempts to create an account, over a three week time period, with no results. You can pick any kind of a user name, and it comes back as already in use, and I really picked some weird ones, just to try. I guess it is really time for me to give up, as there is not enough computer smarts left in my old 84 year old head to do otherwise. Thanks for the info anyway but, it just won't work for me.
