I finally picked up a rifle seemingly capable to practice with the big boys

This finally showed up yesterday. Of course I woke up early thinking about it, put a scope on it and had to shoot it before it became too windy.

I shot two quick groups at 100 yards before I had to go to work. The first one was 15 shots, with three strange low shots hopefully caused by a wind condition. The next group was five shots. These were not hand-picked, that’s all I shot.

The trigger is horrible. I haven’t done much of anything with the barrel other than cleaned it. And I believe I should be able to get a little more velocity out of it. Right now it’s shooting 900 ft./s with the 25 grain redesign. I am very encouraged by the start.

Believe it or not the Kings may prefer the 860-890fps speed for accuracy and 888fps is what I try to hit.

I believe this is a .22, Yo, as he seems to state that he was shooting the 25.39 JSB Monster redesigns. In that case, he may want to up the speed if plausible.

I concur though, very good start with a beautiful Daystate mechanical rifle, Flintsack.

I've seen you, through the years, post up some amazing groups you've accomplished with aged PCPs. It will be exciting to see how you an this modern Daystate gel. Congrats!
