I finally have the OK to share this!

Great Story Troy. I happened to place my order for this rifle last night and happened on this article this morning. This is my first PCP after alot of research. I am a Retired Coast Guard Vet that has shot/owned several powder pushers. Lots of Range time in those years qualifying on the M16/Shotgun/.45/9mm/.40cal Hand Guns. Years of hunting Big and Small Game in the NW with my personal hunting rifles. I happened to talk to a buddy of mine at Church last weekend who runs a Pest Control Company in Lower Alabama who introduced me to the world of PCP's. He has a .22 he uses in his business. Had no idea how advanced these things were. Your article makes me feel like a made the right choice in my first PCP.

Cool! I've been enjoying the heck out of this gun over the last week or so. I also have a G2 .25

Have been posting my ongoing test results and review here: https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/gauntlet-30-testing-results-pellets-slugs-etc-review-and-discussion-thread/

Super happy with this gun... getting 110 FPE with JSB 50.15 grain and a turn on the hammer spring. Or down to mid 70's FPE shooting FX 44.5 grain pellets around 875 fps turning the hammer spring down. Super accurate. I'm turning it up for slugs (only have NSA 47.2 and FX Hybrid 44.75s to test so far) and turning it down for pellets.

Getting over 6 magazines per fill with it turned down vs about 3 magazines at high power.

It's a rainy day so here's a kitchen floor shot

Only thing I would add would be an external twist adjustment for the hammer spring, and maybe a bigger carbon air tank to boost that shot count. I'll be keeping an eye out for those mods.

Have to say though after the last week playing with this gun, it's my pride and joy! I expected it to be great but not as versatile and the subtle improvements over the .25.

Well done!
