I Finally Got My 2240 Put Back Together

The last part I was waiting for finally arrived and it's all put back together.

mooth main tube from Alliance Hobby. The smooth main tube does not have the lawyer approved safety warning covering the entire right side of the pistol. It does not make it shoot better but it looks a lot nicer. The red dot is an OTW RS25.

I'm still getting used to red dots. Shooting from a rest is ok but that red dot really bounces around when shooting free hand. I'll get used to it.

The paper plate target was 10 shots at 12 yards from a rest after I got sighted in. The playing card was shot off hand also at 12 yrds.

Question: Do you guys ever oil or grease the rubber seals on your 2240 other than a drop of pellgun oil on the CO2 cartridge?

Thanks for the info guys. After I posted this thread I still had some day light left and some CO2 in the pistol. I have an old frying pan hanging on a fence 50 yrds from where I shoot at so I took some shots at it from a rest. I only held just over it and I was able to get constant hits. For me that's very good shooting with any kind of hand gun. Those pellets didn't drop off as much as I thought they would at that distance from an air pistol.
