I did it....357 Bulldog is on the way

I finally had the funds to pull this off*...the .357 Bulldog is coming my way.

That's it for me. No more guns...honest. I swear.

What? Why are you all looking at me like that? I'm not lying. I'm done buying guns. Quit laughing at me!

*Only on a Tuesday though. I ordered from Crosman.com, used '20OFFTUESDAY' promocode. They throw in a box of Noslers or a sling also. (I took the Noslers). All told with tax, shipping: $764

Nice, congratulation on purchasing the "last" airgun you will ever, need. I did that last year ( crazy beautiful HM1000) and only a life threatening issue caused me to let it go, naturally it has been replaced with a slightly different model airgun, may you keep yours forever or as long as you like anyway.

I have seen very little real world information posted on this rifle and look forward to a full review soon, and pictures please.

I wish I could convince WAR or AAA to send me a Flex or a Slayer...as a PR/advertisement promotional gift. I keep checking the mail but nothing yet. ;-)

On a serious note though, selling any airgun bigger than .177 in Washington is going to be an uphill battle. It is illegal to hunt with airguns, except for a handful of unclassified (ie non-game) animals. The regulations were written to ensure the ethical harvest of game animals. I agree with that, but the regs were probably written decades ago and haven't been revisited since then. They explicitly list the methods acceptable for harvesting game animals. Airguns are excluded. No one will ask to modify this rule because no one has any of the more powerful airguns because we can't use them to hunt game animals. It's a big, circular problem. They need to get a groundswell of people asking for the rules to be changed, but that won't happen unless people know about airguns that are capable of hunting small/big game. I suggest that AAA, WAR, and Crosman all send a .357 model airgun to all the Washington state members on the map as a advertisement so that they can show other people in the state what airguns can do now.

Woooo congrats. I have to agree, Benjamin Bulldog has such a amazing price point. It also has a super aggressive/alien/railgun look to it. I am trying to save up for a slayer. Not sure if I want the rifled version or the bullpup. Im thinking bullpup since I just got a 300$ Hatsan QE at10 .25. And I gotta say, it is SUPER heavy. Not even back heavy, which is what most people want, its front heavy! Its extremely accurate though, so definitely worth it. On the topic of the legality standpoint of hunting with a big bore. I'd have to say it is super ethical as long as you give a headshot. Body shots on deer, if you only hit the lungs(which happens alot), will let them run 25-75 yards.

What I think we need is more PCPs in stores like: Gander Mountain, Sports Academy, Bass Pro Shops, Walmart, and others to name a few. This will spread news to how amazing PCPs are and will make it more well known. Then someday it will make it to Washington. I'd at least hope Crossman will do it with their new 200$ PCP.

Heck if they do it with the Big Bore Benjamin Bulldog, then ;)
