I'm not even sure how it happened! I was purusing airguns on the web as usual (retired and too much time on my hands) and ran across a link to this site. I clicked and Lo and Behold a 25% off coupon popped up for Crosman. I have a Gen 2 Marauder that I wanted to set up for my Solo Field and Target Competition (I live in Iowa and can't seem to locate one close). I have been thinking about what upgrades I would like to do, regulater etc.. But with that coupon I bought a Field and Target Marauder! I tried to use it in the Custom Shop to get one with a Lothar/Walther barrel, but it wouldn't accept it. Darn! Still, for the final price I was ecstatic!

I got it in .22. I think I was trying to be too clever with my Solo Field and Target Competition. Translated means, I set up a couple knock down targets in my backyard and have at it! I don't know of any clubs or competition in Field and Target anywhere near me.

Oh and thanks for the welcome Michael!

No, not a new adventure. I've been plinking away here in the Midwest for a couple of years (since I retired). I started out excited about replica guns until I discovered how inaccurate they are. Then I got a few inexpensive springer rifles and pistols (Twanngg!). Then I got a Beeman (Weihrauch HW40) P3. Then I gave the junk away! Since then I have fallen in love with the Daisy 7×7 series. I got an HW75 pistol to improve on the P3. I then got an HW90 in .22. Love it so much I bought a .177 barrel for it as well. Then, PCP's!
