i am going challenge my self with golf ball challenge

I have more then 3 miles of open land, swamp and rolling hills behind my targets. My own range for those who haven’t seen it.

No it’s my Patriot Wildcat .25 and it’s 12.7 acres and I have about 6 or more of that mowed, it’s my get away property when I don’t want to be home on the lake dealing with all the boaters and weekend people, I have my camper out there and I also shoot my other things out there.

Here is a close up so you can see my targets,it’s a 110 yard range, I also shoot my Crossbows out there, this was before I mowed the rest of my tall grass.

I can shoot out to 300 yards on my property with out having to worry about it when I shoot from a different position on the property. I put up the 50 BMG vidio just to show that ricochets can happen to anyone not to scare anyone, it’s happend to me.

Deer, Turkey, A few Pheasants, Duck, Geese, Fox, Coyote, Racoons. Yep they are out there.

I had a BullDog 357 but sold it to help fund my RAW HM1000x .357.

In the interest of airgun shooter education, here is my experience. I've found that a .22 caliber 15.89 grain JSB being shot at 25 FPE will enter the cover of a golfball out to 30-40 yards. I think the pellet tends not to have enough energy at farther distances to penetrate and probably ricochets but direct hits at 50-60 yards might penetrate as well. If not saying a glancing blow won't ricochet. It surely will, but the pellet will ricochet at an angle somewhere behind the golfball. Shooting a golfball is the same as shooting any other target in that you have to be aware of people located in your surrounding area and only shoot when safe.
