Matt was shooting a powder-filled plastic toy golf ball. That's why it exploded.
If you have shot enough yourself or been around people shooting enough, you will have experienced a ricochet at some point that you would not have believed possible had you not witnessed it yourself.
I've experienced ricochets other bullets and pellets coming straight back....it doesn't matter what was hit....what matters is that it came back in the direct opposite direction.
No responsible person here is going to follow your lead and shoot real golf balls.

these are guys that inspired Guy fired a round from a .50 caliber sniper rifle into a steel plate. The bullet comes back and almost kills him. It hits the ear protection he's wearing. You can hear the bullet coming back and see it hit the dirt before it hits the guy. it was irn right ha debunked no golf ball

Thanks, its something I thought about doing this last winter as I sat in the house but I just haven’t had the time to do it yet this spring/summer right now I just go out and shoot a few dozen rounds at my AR 500 plates from 35 yards out to 110 yards and call it good.
