HW97K is on the way.......

I've wanted an AA TX200 MKIII or a HW97K for a little while now. If some will recall, I had ordered a TX200 from PA and PA would not ship due to some barrel issues with the lot they had in stock. So, I then redirected and decided I would order a HW97K from Krale. That didn't work out for me either. After multiple attempts to make the transaction and calls to my bank I could never get the transaction to go through.... I still don't understand what that issue was all about. Well, this morning I checked again and saw the TX200 was still not available in the configuration I wanted, so I decided to try one more time to order a HW97K from Krales. What the heck? The transaction went straight through so quick and easy I couldn't believe it. To top that off.....I received an email only 30 minutes later giving me a UPS tracking number and the rifle has already been shipped!! So I have a 97K on the way! Just hope it arrives safely.

(It's a long way from the Netherlands to Alabama.)

From what everyone says you should get it in a few days (which is amazing ) so congrats! Did you order a standard straight up 97 or Laminate or Thumbhole version? Either way, great gun . Enjoy.

I just ordered the straight up beech wood standard 97. The price can't be beat there. I would have ordered the laminate IF I could get the brown/green like on the HW77K.

I appreciate it......looking forward to it.

Dang you, Rooster. We each got a pair of D34 .22's. You went and bought a Vortex 4-12X and now this! Keeping up with the Jones's might be getting expensive............Did you get a .22?

Hehehe!

Hey seven08!...... Now.... I'm not gonna put the 34 in the closet once the 97 gets here. I have that 34 and the Vortex dialed in VERY good together. Love that rifle! And yes, I ordered the 97 in .22. I'm really looking forward to getting it. I kinda feel like I'm complete now. I have a couple of good break barrels, that I've gotten really proficient with. Now I'll have a fixed barrel/under lever in the arsenal as well.

Tomorrow came!!

Holy cow! This thing is built like a tank. I had it delivered to the shop where I work, because thats where I'm always at, and Big Brown drove up at 10:30 this morning and dropped it off. Just got home about an hour ago and opened it up. This rifle is beautiful! Good gosh....I have heard so much bout these HW97's and I see why. It will be a few days before I will be able to take it out and put some lead through it. Until then I'll be getting familiar with it and getting my mounts/rings and scope together......and probly sleeping with it.

(BTW.....I was very leery about ordering from Krale. Not any more. Rifle appears to have shipped just fine, and......FAST!)

The pics are not very good.......I just unpacked it. Take a look!
