HW44 X-Tend Stock

Yep the X-Tend Stock is not cheap, but like Dave said the HW44 is very accurate. I started off with a Burris 2-7x32 Pistol Scope which was fun for plinking out to about 35 yards. I kinda got bored with it and knowing the HW44 had a lot more potential I wanted a Rifle Scope for better accuracy, quicker acquisition and longer range.

I also have always wanted a backpack/woods walker, (hoping I will be able to mount a single point sling) I have wanted a edgun leshiy classic for this duty. I am hoping the HW44 with the X-Tend Stock will be a perfect fit. So in that regard, the X-tend Stock is a bargain and possibly a better performer for my application. I have been working on clearing a trail for hiking/snowshoeing and placing targets along the trail so I am really looking forward to the X-Tend Stock.

The email I received says It may take up to 21 days because of the current situation, and after I receive it I will have to take a measurement to see what picatinny riser I need to order.

I will take pictures and do a mini review.

Dave are you the one that has a HW44 in both .177 and .22? If so what kind of shot count are you getting for your 22? And is the accuracy similar?

Yes I have the .22 as well as the .177, the .22 is just as accurate and same shot count, two magazines per fill. The .22 hits harder but the trajectory is loopy at long range, just as accurate though. They are amazing guns I think. Here’s a gopher target at 60 yards, shooting off of bags at 20x. Once you get dialed in you can hit a quarter at 60 yards easily (off bags of course)! I’m definitely going to get one of those stocks if you say they are good after you receive it. Can’t wait to see how short it will be. With rifle accuracy, the awesome trigger and the cocking lever being so smooth I think it’s going to be an amazing bull pup. In my opinion the only down side is the lever that helps load the magazine, but once you get used to it it’s nothing. Can’t wait to see what you think of the stock.

I first bought both 177 and 22 HW44 pistols then both caliber HW100BPKs after that.

The actions are different and use 14 round magazines and get more shots. They are pretty heavy buggers for their size like how the Daystate Renegade and Pulsar are for their size. The HW44s are the LEXUS versions of the P-Rods IMHO. I think they are worth their selling price you can hunt out to 60-70 yards with both calibers in ideal conditions especially with a 6.5-20x Leupold Rifle scope Like Dave has.

HW44 is a Lexus prod lol! That’s a perfect comparison. I really can’t wait to see if the stock fits tightly and functions well. I’m going to immediately order one. Imagine how light weight it would be, and short. I’ve never been so excited about doll clothes! That’s what my brother calls the extra stuff I buy for my guns lol!

Awesome, thanks for the info. Impressive the shot count is the same. I was curious what you were using for a scope, thanks for including a picture. Here is my current setup.

How are you liking the AS34? I have one but it hasn't spent much time at all on either my P-rod or Leshiy. For an inexpensive scope it has a great eye box and I love the long eye relief but I do a lot of close range indoor shooting and I found it blurry in that situation. I emailed the company about sending it back for adjusting the objective lens and they said they wouldn't do that. So far I haven't worked up the courage to try it myself.

I look forward to your review with the X-tend stock. That's a combination that would interest me.

I like the AS34, it works out better for me than the Burris, but still searching for the perfect scope. I know I will want more magnification with the addition of the stock, hopefully that's going to get easier since I should have more rifle scope choices.

I am looking forward to receiving the stock also, still have not received notification that it has shipped yet.

Airgun peeps, at this time I recommend to not order a X-Tend Stock from The Airgun Centre. I guess the Virus is so bad over there that they are unable to produce, ship or communicate. I will update everyone when/If I learn more.

Well, I think it is a good thing it went that way.

Personally, it appears to me as flimsy and not worth the price, sir.

Initial impressions are good, it's made out of a AR collapsing stock with a adapter for the HW44 body made from a 3D printer. The 3D printer has a line-X type texture, there is a little bit of play with only one connection point, but otherwise solid. A little tricky to install, you tilt the stock up then it slides into position. There is instructions included, but not on the magazines, install the magazines so the pellets are pointing outward or else you will fight to remove them.

The collapsed length is approximately 28.5 inches, extended 31.25 inches. If you order you will get a email from the Airgun Centre, but the tracking number will come from ben daye, this triped me up because I was expecting the Airgun Centre to send a shipped/tracking email, so watch your junk folder. I have ordered a 1/2 picatinny riser from Amazon for my scope, but this may not be necessary depending on your scope mount height?

It feels good shouldering and I think that I am going to enjoy the X-Tend Stock.

I will provide more pictures when my riser is delivered and scope mounted, if anyone has questions ask and I will do my best to answer.
