The air gun made to diesel?! Yes produced in very low number the Weihrauch EL54 Barakuda was made to diesel using get this... ETHER. A tube on the right side was for adding ether then the handle was pulled rearward to allow ether vapor to enter the compression tube. The gun was then cocked as normal and fired creating a deisling effect it can be fired without the ether charge. Lead balls became the preferred ammo as conventional lead pellets would on occasion be blown in half leaving skirts in the barrel while the head would go down range. No I have not tried it and will not in the future. It's basically an HW35 with the added ether tube but unless marked BARAKUDA it is not considered authentic. There is no such thing as an HW35 Barakuda although some where made from spare parts they can not be considered a true Barukuda.
