I just got my new Weihrauch HW 95 today. I am never getting another clone. I bought this gun in "like new mint condition" with only about 300 shots through the barrel. I have a BAM B26 in .177 and while it is true that they look pretty much like twins, I have been properly introduced to the real deal and I only shot it for a little less than an hour. My B26 is tuned so it sounds better than the German gun but even with only 300 or so shots through it, as soon as I got a scope on it and got on paper it was putting JSB Jumbo 15.89gr pellets in the same hole over and over and the trigger is on another planet. When it comes to smallbore I have Anschutz, CZ and Izhmash and they are all amazing. I can rave for days about how fabulous my Russian match gun is and my 1907 Anschutz that good but its trigger is measured in grams, not ounces. I'm a rimfire snob and with good reason. Unfortunately I've been a bargain shopper when it comes to air rifles, but that nonsense is OVER. This HW95 sounds almost as twangy as my Gamo Shadow used to before I lube tuned it. Just damn! I'm going to be doing a sale soon to start replacing some pretty ok guns with some really great ones.
