My wife got her first two hares yesterday. Both shots off hand at about 30 yards. Then we hit some private land that has issues with Cotten tails eating their rose bushes. I got 2 out of the 3 we saw with off hand shots ranging from 10 yards to 50 yards. The last one ran without stopping and crossed the road onto land that was not open for hunting. All shots taken with the huntsman regal .22. Using H&N 21gr pellets.
