Hunting with the JSB Hades .25

Thanks guys! It looks like the trajectory compared to the speed sets it to about 0.26, like what Hard Air Magazine posted. They always seem to have it posted correctly. I have not officially verified that but I'm pretty sure it is close.

Interesting, If I use that they are super high at 100 yards. They track good for me at around.038 which is what the exact king 25.4 are.

Yea, faster they are shot the worst the bc is. Mine is around 905-910fps, I'm sure around 830fps the bc is better.

I'm shooting them at 920 with my wildcat...I will be tuning to around 850-870 this weekend. My accuracy is acceptable currently but if I can improve shot count and eek out a bit more accuracy I will be a happy camper. My WC does seem to like them and I have shot 7 squirrels so far with no problems. It's nice not having to trim the tips on polymags to get them to run in the WC magazine.

That's right where I am shooting as well. I tried higher 925 and 950 and poi didn't really change but i only tested at 50 yards so that supports what you are saying but even at 900 the b.c. appears to be higher than.02x

That's interesting. I'll test it in the coming days. I'll let your know my exact bc on the BC .25 hades page.

The BCs that I calculated from data recorded by my LR in a 16 shot string with my 350mm Leshiy (light wind from my 11 o'clock @888fps MV) were:

  • 0-50m 0.041
  • 0-112m 0.029

+1 Thanks for that ! Do you have this info for the 25.4 kings?

No problem. I stopped shooting the Kings about a year ago. I could never get them shooting well in any kind of wind 😭

It's interesting to me that the Hades are noticeably better. Better than average pellet BC, slightly heavier, but more importantly they're far more predictable with my airguns than the Kings were.
