Hunting with my Yukon Outdoor Side Pack AND what . . . . .

tools do you carry just in case something goes wrong? Do you have a separate case that contains any tools you might need for the unexpected problem that might develop? What might they be?

And while I'm at it, what do you typically carry in your Yukon Outdoor Side Pack . . . . like for instances, a compass, a concealed weapon, snacks, water, AND, what else would you carry in your Yukon Side Pack?

I appreciate that we're all from different parts of the world, different things apply and maybe you're hunting in some vastly different terrain than I do, but I tend to carry as little as possible when I'm out with my air rifle. I'll take pellets, and some water for myself, and a knife either in my pocket or on my belt - but rarely much more than that. Of course, I'll have food and a first aid kit in the car, but not much more than that to be honest. I've never owned a rangefinder - but if I did, that would of course come with me.

Shooting a lower power as I've always done in the UK means it's highly unlikely that you'll ever run out of air whilst out, so I've never needed to carry an air source - maybe if I'm planning a longer day with a prolonged zero session I'll put the scuba tank in the car too.

Yeah, things are definitely different over here. I hunt in forests that are maybe 1/30th the size of the UK, and that's just in 1 state. If you get lost or injured in there you might need a day or more to find your way out. You have to pack in a little more than a knife to ensure that you're prepared. I've spent a night in the woods because of a trail that disappeared and terrain that required me to spend the night in the hills waiting for light to navigate out again. It was an eye opener.

"linsfreak"Very cool guys. They dont make that side pocket big enough for air bottlte. I had to give mine to shoe repair shop. They have all the big machines to sew any thing any way. Show you guys in a few weeks. That shoe parlor is just packed with work. Can't wait. Will be a cool bag.
It was big enough for mine. It's tight to be sure, but it fit. You saw the photos of it.
