hunting or target and pest control with bulldog357

I dont have a bulldog, but plan on adding one soon. There are a few species I could hunt with a bulldog. Mostly coyotes......They are almost never within bow range. There is a fish and game area supervisor in my area that believes airguns are suitable for hunting game smaller than elk..... Hoping my state will adapt the rules of AZ or maybe i'll just move there

Anyways hunting and pest control are pretty much the same thing... I dont know what the range is on the bulldog, but I have seen some dudes tagging ground squirells out to 120 yards I imagine with the weight of the slug you should be able to smack down small-medium sized stuff out to 200yrd? I did see a you tube video, Guy hit a gong 300yards out but it was like 2ft diameter

I have a Bulldog. I'm not allowed to use it on game animals (stupid Washington DFW)...anyway, I can use it on coyotes, marmots, ground squirrels, eastern gray squirrels and a few other unclassified critters. It is definitely NOT a target gun, but it doesn't need to be. It's a hunting rifle. If you're shooting squirrels with it, it really isn't well suited for that because the kill zone is so small, but on the other hand, it's so powerful it doesn't matter so much where you hit it because it's gonna die. On a deer, the kill zone is about the size of a small football. The Bulldog will easily hit that out to 50-75m, more if you've practiced and sighted it in properly. It is loud and brash.
