Hunters supply ammo

"crittahitta"I ordered their 49 grain .25 cal bullet for my condor ss. They were very clean and shot well. No obvious defects that i could notice.
How do they go with your Condor barrel ??, let`s say at 80 yards ? group sizes or FPS maybe, I'm interested in finding a good slug for the Condor SS, I also have one but only shoot JSB with it.

Thanks for the info.

I'll preface this with this was my experience and others may have had a totally different experience.

I bought 2 boxes of .25 cal. a couple months ago. One flat nose and one hollow point. They arrived in large Hunter Supply branded boxes. Only 5% of the box is filled with the 100 slugs. The boxes had no padding inside them, so the slugs bounced all over the box during shipping like beans in a caracas. In addition to this, about 80% to 90% are malformed. IMO, these should never have been sold to the public. I'll pick out the decent 10-15% for target practice and use the rest for chrono testing. These are so bad, I actually thought I had bought factory seconds and went back to check. These were not sold as factory seconds. It would have cost me almost as much in return shipping as I paid for them so I never sent them back.
In contrast, NSA slugs were tightly packed into small boxes and arrived in good shape. The ammo wasn't perfect, but was 80X better than Hunter Supply. While NSA slugs are more expensive, they're really not. If I only get 10 good slugs out of the hunter supply box, I will have paid over $1 per slug which is far more expensive than NSA slugs.

As I said in the beginning, others might have a better experience. These could have been factory seconds and someone sent them to me by mistake. However, I won't buy these slugs again sight unseen.
