Huma reg. time delay?

I am in the process of installing a Huma in a .25 Marauder, + other performance enhancements. Now, I'v heard about having to wait 10+/- seconds for the reg to get to shooting pressure between shots. If this is true, that seems like a deal breaker in a hunting gun because of the occasional need for a timely follow up shot for a humane kill. Is there a wait time between shots with the Huma? What happens if you do a quick follow up shot? Is this a non issue, or something to worry about?

Thanks in advance for the help, Rjoe

On a reg tester I have seen and observed the Huma perform perfectly time after time. In my own gun I can shoot as fast as I can pull the bolt back and pull the trigger and the FPS will be very very consistent. My reg is set at 160bar and within a split second you let the air out it is right back up to 160bar. I havent taken my regulator any lower so I couldnt tell you what will be happening at lower pressures.

I have a Huma in my Hatsan AT44. I have never experienced a regulator lag thru multitudes of shot strings over a chronograph. Currently my reg is set at 120 bar. I would not hesitate for a second to buy another Huma. If the reg in my Wildcat or the BSA R10 that just showed up at my door ever take a dump - it will be a Huma that comes to the rescue.
