Huma Reg problem

That isn't a problem. Fx reg will bleed sometime when screw bottle off. Or can be dry fire and it will bleed. Or turn the reg and will bleed.

Huma reg is not fx reg. It will not bleed if bottle is taken off. It will not bleed if dry fire. It will not bleed if turn reg.

Imo this is better, meaning I can screw bottle off and still have air inside the PP tube, then put new bottle in. Fx reg will sometime bleed out if screw bottle off. That is wasted air. When screw new bottle in, the air must refill the PP tube which drops the pressure in the bottle.

Centercut, I could never get it to release pressure by dry firing on MIN. I took it all the way down to 60 bar and stopped, thinking that I might damage something. It finally bled itself off after I came back a few minutes later.

I reset it and brought it back up to 135 Bar, (it's min setting), and it seems to be working well.

So in three days I get 2-3 bar creep. Does that sound about right for Huma?

Also has anyone taken the ultra high pressure Reg (135-200 Bar) below 135?

Thanks

2 to 3 bar creep is normal. Is the temperature the same when you check the reg pressure? That will have an effect on the plenum pressure. Could change up to 4 or 5 bar easy when you go from hot to cold or vice versa. But all things being equal, 2 or 3 bar overnight is totally normal... How are those NSA 43.5 grain slugs working out for you?

Thanks Centercut

I heglected to check temps but in the house it fluctuates a few degrees. I’m at that time of year where neither AC nor heat is on so it’s not constant. Outside we’ve gone from 89 down into the low forties in a 24 hr period. That might explain things.
Targets shot at 50 and 105 yards are very promising with sub MOA at 50 and MOA at 105. If this is repeatable then I’m sticking with the 43.5’s
