I was a little leery of all the quote inaccuracies reported on the website about the FX gauges and I did not like the coarse graduations. I installed two of the HUMAs on my impact. I have access to a Fluke 700G30 high-pressure digital gauge. I installed on my Impact, and I adjusted the regulator for 125 bar. I let it sit for a while, and today I removed the digital gauge and installed the HUMA. The needle is dead center between the 120 and 130.
What I was amazed at during this exercise is how much the pressure fluctuates over time. I suspect a lot is just temperature. Four seconds after the shot the pressure was 122.34. At one minute it was 124.29, and at ten it was 125.54. I checked it 45 minutes from the start and it was 126.86. This morning 125.40. I think the rise was due to the Texas heat. Next on the agenda is to chrony some shots.
