Huge power from new AA S510 XS 22!

Previous thread with original rifle

Whether these slugs and pellet are accurate at these speeds in this replacement rifle has yet to be determined, but this is a good start IMO.

~~~~~~~~~
I must have missed a few of your threads. I do highly enjoy your pesting videos.
Was there some issue with your original AA S510? I own -- have for 2 years now -- an AA S510 (unregulated). I rarely use the rifle. It is a beautiful rifle with the traditional stock and twin cylinders -- high shot count. The sweet spot 190 bar - 130ish bar; very accurate. Just produces a loud report.
I added a Neil Claque LDC which made the rifle close to 50 inches long. Also, I found the 38fpe in a .25 caliber wanting. That said, I will never part with this 'un.
Moby,
Yes, it's a replacement. Seems to be very powerful....good thing there's a power adjuster in case it needs to be dialed back for lighter pellets.
I haven't had a chance to do much Chrono as I only got the rifle yesterday. I hope to get out on the range soon.
The original rifle was inspected at Pyramyd Air and found to have a sticking regulator due to lack of lube. I've never had any regulator apart so I don't know how they function. Tyler from PA said that the original is functioning fine now, just like the replacement.
Good luck at the farm Bob! I hope you have plenty of targets to test the RR ( Replacement Rifle) for accuracy, performance and reliability ( repeatabilty).
You mentioned the lack of lube was the issue on the original rifle.. I am familiar with "standard" compressed air ( 120 psi) regulators and they only have a spring and "rubber" disk with no lube required.. But anyway, what matters is how the new rifle does for you.. Good luck!!
