Tuning Huben k1 Plastic magazine

Hi guys

Someone has made some modification or manufactured some protective plastic through which the pellets are introduced into the magazine, in the 25 cal if the slugs are very long they enter twisted and if the pellets have a weak skirt it deforms it

this is the standard loading gate included on all stock hubens.

i never experienced this issue with the .22 hubens i had, i'm guessing they didnt modify the size of the plastic guard that keeps pellets from falling out to accommodate the .25 sized pellets.

wonder if this has something to do with accuracy issues in the .25's while the .22's are known as being very accurate

My Huben is still stock, but I do recall someone either removing or cutting that plastic piece. I may try it, as it is sort of a pain. Also, I have yet to find any pellet, or slug (22 cal) that will slip out of the magazine, "IF" I seat them all the way in when loading, using a small probe. Also seems more accurate if seating the pellets/slugs.

Hi

Thank you for your contribution, in 22cal I haven't heard any negative comments but I assure you that in 25cal its operation isn't practical at all

My thoughts are to cut the center part

That is another problem of the 25cal magazine that does not hold the slugs and pellets

I know there are some Huben 25cal owners who are working on a new magazine
