Huben K1

Greetings, I pick up a used Huben from one of the members, 2018 year model in .25. I've got it set up with an Athlon Argos 6-24x50, high UTG mounts and a STO Falix. It was extremely quite out of the box, rat fart quite with the Falix on I now know what mouse fart quite is just a whisper. Looks great, nice flowing lines not jarring to the eye like my lcs K19 is. Ergonomics are user friendly, nicely balanced, throw the gun up and it's spot on. Iv'e only ripped a magazine off into the back yard. I can't wait to get it to a range to dial it ingot box full of pellets to try out. Initial impressions are good. the rabbit hole gets deeper.

I received my .22 a couple of weeks ago from Kraz Cool Airguns. Zero'd it in my backyard at 30 yards shooting JSB 18's at 907 FPS. took it to the range yesterday, rezero'd at 39 yards and was hitting metal targets easily out to 100 yards. We set targets up every 5 - 10 yards. So much fun! Decided to try FX 25 grain pellets, turned the power dial up 3 clicks and rezero'd at 39 yards. One of the guys had the FX Chrono and measured 970 FPS over 7 shots. Without any holdover print out from chairgun I was hitting the same targets out to 100 yards easily. WOW - I was impressed, can't wait to get back out there. I had one problem when I first shot it in my backyard, the mag got stuck. You have to make sure that you seat the pellet in far enough when you load it. It was operator error. I'll take some pictures next week and post them.

Discovery HD 5-25X50 SFIR DLTW FFP IR-1/2MIL 30mm First Focal Plane Rifle Scope is the scope that I have on it and I really like it. I bought it from a fellow AGN member about 6 weeks ago that advertised it in the Classified section.

I have a 2020 Huben .25 and the only problem I have is the shot count. I probably need to try turning down the reg pressure. I’m shooting the 34 grain jsb mk2 at 880 and struggling to get two mags. I think my reg is set at 150 bar. I think my fill tank was a little low so I only filled to about 4K. I’m sure if I could fill it a little more then that would obviously help.

These guns are a lot of fun to shoot. I wish I could load more than one pellet at a time though.

Hi

150 bars is a bit high for a speed of 880fps, Huben has quite a large power plenum.

Hi

I have a k1.25 and to get best shotcount you need to raise reg pressure between 175-195bar.

Set it to 180 bar, then turn power wheel in 25 klicks from fully out (should be ca 50-55 total) . Go from there in or out on power wheel.

I get almost exactly 2mag of 34gr jsb at 850/55fpe from a 300 bar fil, from my yong heng compressor.

You can hear and feel when the gun shoots where it likes.

You then use higher pressure for shorter time. That is the most air efficient way.

I also use my mp-mold-bullets 47gr at around 850/75 fp wit ca 20-25 clicks in.

I'm working right now and have more exact numbers home.

If you go to far in on power wheel you bet a blow out. Not so funny....

I have shoot ca 5-6k through my k1 and she's still going strong. She's got some flaws but overall an OK gun. Jus my 2 cents...
