Huben Hammerless K1

Have you try to use clean barrel pellets to see if you have better results on accuracy??

Hi Guys

Here is an update with not much new, Piledriver pellets seem to be vaporware, so Im now looking for some of the new JSB heavy pellets that I got as a sample form JSB. They did shoot better.

I still think the design of the Piledriver will be the way to go as the "slug" seems to be more accurate than the skirted pellet.
I regularly clean the barrel and that is easy and not a problem. I have not been shooting as much because it has been a crappy winter here in MT and the snow is sticking around, we need our "chinook winds" to clean this stuff out!

I might be forced to purchase some of the old stock Piledrivers from AOA, but the online ordering is impossible and looks to be from the 1990's. I saw that they do not use SSH so so I guess I will call them. You would think they would spend some money and get a real website.

Coming up on almost a year and I still like this gun! I wish Huben would get it together and ship, so other could help me find the right pellets or slugs to shoot.
Sorry so short, but not much new.

I do not think the final chapter has been written on this gun yet, we will see. Huben does not want to ship a gun that does not preform well so as much as it hurts to wait, in the end it is the right move. I enjoy my K1, and would not trade for a new FX Monsoon. Maybe I will always have one of just a couple ever made like this, if that is true, and Huben goes under then I have something rare! But, in the end Im thinking you will be proven wrong.Im not in bed with Huben, I just hate your Ax grinding and you don't even own or have not even shot the gun.

MOD EDIT: REMOVED UNPRODUCTIVE COMMENTS

My point is simple, from the beginning I have attempted to give a clean and useful review of this gun, I have not pulled any punches I own the gun, I shoot the gun, I have several other airguns that I shoot so I know what is good and what is not. Doing a review takes time and effort. What I do not need is some negative person who has a ax to grind consistently posting negative BS each time I post responding to questions on the gun. As of this date you have not had one post that offered any information other than conjecture and BS from some unproven source. You do not own the gun, you have not shot the gun. Frankly up till this point you have only aggressively, negatively, attacked me because I have posted a review of the gun. Your "Bitter Criticism" is not founded in any data of your testing. Somewhere along the line, you must feel that Huben has wronged you and because of that you feel it is your mission to go after whoever has anything to say good on the Huben product.

"louis40"wlbryce, if i did not change my mind on Huben it's because of your reviews.. Thanks for your trials on it and keep us updated..
Also, if you are in contact with Huben manufacturers, tell them to move their butts and start sending the pieces..

Cheers..
Unfortunately,my last 2 posts were deleted by the moderator. My chinese friend(the insider) told me that the manufacturer failed to improve the accuracy with the new customized JSB pellets. You will have to wait until this gun is ok,that's to say, another several months.

From my friend's point of view, the unstable accracy and too many flyers totally result from the design defect rather than what sort of pellets it shoots.

The design defects were spotted by the manufacturer at least 2 years ago. I don't think Huben will make it.
