Huben Hammerless K1

@schoofsbock thanks it did the trick.

Back up and shooting now.

I don't get it, thought only too much opening up of the powerwheel would make it blow air.

So

- powerwheel too much in = blowing all air untill cylinder is completely empty

- powerwheel too much out = blowing air (not sure if bleeds completely empty)

Can someone confirm this?

Here's my last group at 100m, almost no wind, shooting huben pellets at 290m/s (around 90joules) with reg pressure at 160bar.

@jellvand, I can confirm your settings with the powerwheel. I`m not sure if it bleeds completely in any wheel position.

However, nice groups for 100m. Im far away from this after first time cleaning the barrel. Dont know what happened to my Huben. I`m also shooting the Huben slugs, but not better than with the JSB Beasts or redesigned Monsters !

Perhaps my groups are so lousy because I`m an old crazy a…hole shatterhand.

I will try this weekend again some settings with my Huben, hope the wheater will be fine.

Went out yesterday to test some swage ammo for my Huben 22 cal

I started with 12 different slugs that consisted of boat tails flat bases

hollow points and round nose solids and were 33 grains in weight ,

Here is a 50 yard group the one shot on the left was me I think

pulled the last shot I think I got excited . K-1 / V-4 I do not know

what speed I was shooting as I forgot the chronograph again .

so I just so I just got my 22 Huban. Jsb ammo sucks and the huben ammo was a 4 inch group at 100 yards. What molds did you use? And where did you get it D-RIG?

This is not cast ammo it is made with a swage die

and pure lead wire , it is superior in every way to

cast ammo , it is perfectly round and the weight is

within 1/10 of a grain from slug to slug .

@D-RIG, are you able to tell us something about your selfmade swagging kit please ? Some fotos, what kind of lead wire you use and from where you get it, dimension of your slug etc … ?

I`m also not satisfied with the Huben slugs and tested with many JSB with different fps etc. No way, I shoot the same groups with my SPA M10 with same distance.

The Impact X and the AA510 Extra FAC shows much better groups and I know the Huben is able to produce the same groups !

The swage die for the Huben are custom made from Corbin , The lead wire I purchase from

a person that I found oneBay it's around 3 dollars a pound .

The SPA M-10 is a great gun I've owned 2 of them and both were capable

of hitting a ping pong ball at 200 yards within 4-5 shots with swage ammo .
