Huben K1 V4 is here.......just kidding :) I've had the gen 2 for a year now and finally got around to making it the way I wanted it. An Fx Impact look alike. Hated the Huben not having a tank gauge and the stock was butt ugly. Decided to take apart my RTI Priest and make this hybrid. Just the way I wanted it. More air, dual regulated. Still waiting on someone to make those slugs for this bad boy. Going to the desert to max it out on power and see what velocity, shot count and groups I get.

Thanks for the honest review. I'm really on the fence over so many choices, all the while Huben has been screaming ACCURATE POWER! Now, I see I'd rather not deal with what I see as design flaws.

Needs 2 gauges, needs blueprint and definitely needs to be self serviceable. I appreciate 2 forms of air power, speed adjustment, and being externally accessible is a plus. I can live with a creepy 2lb trigger. I can't live with a probe. Really? By now, everyone should know follow Crosmans basics in usage. The magazines mating to face is where the transfer port is. Not sure how it indexes & keeps a seal. You're kind of right. Like dating a girl & wondering what the goods look like. LOL. No no now. I am interested but with Mr. Frear's policy & geez, I really want a full sized .30 RAW, Win 70, something with WOOD, & metal, that doesn't look like Buck Rodgers left it behind in a melee to mas scoot.

I have a Huben K1 And it is Working very Well.

But Now I want to take the accuracy a bit further And I have Some questions.

I am schootging with the Huben slugs and my groups look like this:

There is always a tight center and Some random holes around.

When loading up the solids, Some go very easy, Some tight and some doesnt fit in the magazine.

But When I push a pellet in, and press it out, this is What it looks like:

My tought was, Maybe soms solids get damaged wrong And Cause inaccuracy.

Does Some of you have suggestions to make the gun more accurate When shooting with the right pellets?

thanks

Wimpy

Hi D-RIG,

I found this hollow point 28 gr. bullets on eBay? This bullets fit Huben’s magazine and this bullets seem to shooting well at 50 yards at 990 fps. Accuracy about the same as JSB redesigned. I’m waiting for my side-shot scope mount to come in to do some video shooting with longer distance. See couple of my favorite bullets and pellets that perform very well with my Huben. I haven’t try Huben’s bullets yet, since they are more difficult to found here in the U.S. see pictures what I have been shoot with and perform well on my K1

In the picture above, Sept 22 @9:19 post, that crown does not look good. Looks like there is a raised ridge just at the point where the land stops. Especially visible at the top land in the photo and the first one to the right. I'd redo that crown, maybe polishing with brass bolt and compound would be sufficient bit it looks like it could be improved dramatically.
