How you liking your Barra scope?

I have on the the barra scopes on my hw97. Very clear scope. I'm not a huge fan of the reticle tho. But the scope is solid and great glass. What more can you ask for at that price

What about the reticle you don't like? And can you confirm it's made in Japan? How much did you pay for it if u don't mind me asking. 

I am trying to compare that with the 3-15x50 with the mildot reticle. 

I have the 3-15×50. It was my first good scope. It's way better then my utg hunter and the scopes in that range that I have. It's kind of heavy on my dreamline. Its crisp clear and easy to adjust. I made an offer on ebay of 200$. I think now they want 250$ I also bought an alpha 6 and I dont know if I would've bought the barra if I would've bought the alpha first. Mainly because of the lack of warranty on the barra. I like the barra reticle better then the alpha. Both scopes were well worth the 200$ each.

I’m in the same boat as Elis, the reticle is quite thick with round dots for BDC holdover of unknown value. It’s down right obstructive depending on what you are trying to shoot. Outside of annoyance with the reticle it’s a phenomenal scope for the money especially at low light condition. These are powder burner hunting scopes and they are extremely good at that but don't work for tight groups at long distances when target shooting. For a quick shot hunting rifles in low light conditions these are awesome, during the day the images are super sharp and bright.
