How to remove the barrel shroud on an FX bobcat

DO NOT ATTEMPT REMOVING THE BOBCAT'S SHROUD OR YOU MAY DAMAGE YOUR BARREL AND TRANSFER PORT AND VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
Please don't take this the wrong way as I am only trying to help by keeping you from ruining your rifle and voiding the warranty. Is there a particular reason you want to remove the shroud?

The Bobcat's shroud is connected to the barrel. Twisting the shroud will twist the barrel which causes damage to the transfer port and barrel and serious. This will cause your accuracy and power to jump all over the place. You don't want to go down that road trust me.

Nice video! Here in Sweden it looks way diffrent. There is an airstripper at the end inside the shroud. Interesting. 

Superb video AOA. Any video on trigger adjustment for the bobcat.???? The instructions in the manual are there but seem a bit scary to perform. Would love the trigger on my cat to become a tad lighter on the second stage.

It's funny how simplistic most airguns are yet most people are scared to touch them. Is it lack of mechanical aptitude or is it because of how much the gun costs? I'm a tinkerer I have to take everything apart to see how it works and if I can make it better. Within the first 3 days my Bobcat had the front shroud cap modified to make it quieter.
