I wanted to take the time to post a few tips on using the feedback section and leaving feedback for buyers, sellers, and trades.
Using the feedback section. You see a deal that you're interested in and you'd like to see the feedback for "John Doe". You go to the feedback section and type "John Doe" in the search box. It's going to bring up all posts related to "John Doe" and you can make your decision from there.
This brings me to the topic of posting in the Feedback section. As a buyer/seller/trader you should always have the same name used in the feedback section.
It would be very difficult to find someone that goes by John, Johnny, or (screen name) "bullseye." You'd have to know all these things before looking them up and then you might have to look them up 3 times. If you're going to leave feedback for someone, take the time to ask them what name they would like you to use. This makes it easier for everyone involved in the transaction. You as a member can then say, "Hey, look me up under "John Doe" to see all my feedback!" and know that the other member is going to see all of your feedback in one search.
Feedback titles - This is how feedback titles should be worded. Name, Rating, and What type of transaction. John Doe A+ Seller! That's all. This keeps it simple and easy to understand. Without any one of these 3 things, it makes it harder to understand without opening up the post.
Ratings can be whatever you choose. A+/F-, Positive/Negative, "Great", "Excellent", "just ok", "poor"
Inside the post, you can go into further detail about your experiences with the other person, if you would like, or just leave it simple as "Thanks!"
A note about scammers - We are continuing to pursue ways to deter scammers from operating here at AGN. If you have any proven information about a known scammer, please PM it to me, Moderator2 (do not leave it here) so that I can add it to a list that I am creating. This will help the AGN staff to be a first line of defense for our members.
