How to extend the male on FX Impact

Hello,
I am wondering how Ted can extend the male adaptor on his Impact.
I'm waiting on my Impact as well, but I don't know how to or where to buy the part.
Could someone help me out, please?

I think he just got a female foster fitting and screwed it into a male foster fitting. Then he just clicked it on and leaves it in place. I could be wrong, though.
Also, AoA has some 3D printed extensions that fit onto the FX coupler that might help you out.
