How to bleed a Taipan veteran?

Unscrew the velocity adjuster ( Brass piece ) Place a semi loose fitting nail with a head larger than hole that is cut off to @ 1/4" long into the hole the hammer pilots into. ( remove the spring )

Now screw the adjusted back on and as you start to screw it on the hammer can no longer enter the adjuster and in turn it gets placed under forward motion against poppet valve. once adjuster firms up only 1/4 turn or so further and air will leave the valve out the barrel.



Of course one can machine a more elegant machined little T plug that will do the same thing ... "How Too" shared the basic ghetto miens to get it done easy peezy.
