How safe are composite toe safety shoes?

I had to replace my old safety shoes for work and decided to test how tough the safety shoe composite toes really are. I used a .177 Umarex NXG APX, .22 Marauder Pistol, and a .25 Marauder rifle. I won't spoil the ending, but suffice it to say that many pellets and slugs met their fate that day.

You have too much time on your hands to shoot at old shoes...LOL...
Composite safety shoes are designed to withstand the same tollerances
as steel toes. Only lighter weight AND they are not as cold on your toes
and feet as steel toes in frigid cold weather. I know. I am a dockworker
and it is like working outside the whole time. Getting run over with a
forklift wheel or having a 400lb piece of steel falling on your foot is
nothing like getting shot with a lead or allow pellet. No comparison....
