How much are you paying to refill your tank?

I don't have a tank ...yet. So I paid a LGS to fill my Benji Discovery $12.99. I wasn't sure if my pump was not working or my gun. The rifle filled fine up to about 1900 psi jsut below the 2k mark on the rifle's gauge. Since then I tried to pump it closer to the 2k line to no avail with my pump.

Dive shop is $8 for a tank(they didn't say what size tank). But they sale a 20 fill card for $60. And they asked for the tank to be left over night? They said because of the heat? And since I'm just looking at what I need to step off the pcp ledge. I've not talked to the local fire station guys yet. How many boxes of doughnuts is a fill at the fire station? I still see in the first year its going to be easy to spend $6k.

"dodge3500"Yeah I know exactly where rheas is but I talked to them a few years ago about filling Paintball tanks and got a rude answer so I just forgot about using them.I generally drop off 2 scubas and 2 60 min Scott tanks to tank worx.:)
They can inspect and hydro test too.

dodge3500 Thanks for the heads up on that location. That is only 11 miles from my location.

The first couple of times I got my times I got my tanks filled at a paintball shop. When I went back to have them filled the 2nd time the owner ask what I was using the for. When I told him PCP air rifles he got a funny look on his face. That was when he told me that his compressor did not have a filter to take out all of the moisture. I had since found a dive shop to fill mine. he does check the date on the tank every time I take it in. The shop that I use fills to about 4700 PSI. After the tank cools I do have 4500 PSI on the gauge.

Just something for you guys that are using a paintball shop to fill your tank something to think about.
