How Long Has FedEx NOT Shipped Airguns?

The link probably doesn't work because it was from within my FedEx Account..IDK.

Yeah Pneumatic Paper Punch. But that would be problematic if I insured for $1500 and then the package went missing.

One thing we all need to remember. Whatever arrangement we might have with our buddy at the shipping site, it isn't worth a can of warm spit if something happens that gives rise to an insurance claim. At that point, you have to offer documentation of the contents, and value. The amount of insurance you buy is irrelevant, it's a matter of what the insurer determines to be "market value", which may also be irrelevant if fraud is determined. So, we need to accept the risk of being self insured, or accurately document the contents and value of the shipment.

With UPS, the franchise stores cannot accept them, but the company hubs can. Maybe a similar situation with FedEx? I've not had an issue at my local store.

Yes! This! The smaller FedEx/UPS stores do not accept airguns, but the big main hubs do. I used to ship airguns exclusively through FedEx at their main hub. But I changed to USPS because some of the staff at FedEX main hub didn't know how to fill out the paperwork for shipping an air rifle. Much simpler for me to use USPS.

I test and ship Non-Regulated mineral insulating oil from electrical equipment. We use Fedex exclusively. Since Covid I get shipments ready from home or job sites, so I use many drop off locations. As I do this I run into many personalities at the Fedex locations. Most don't know their job. I get all kinds of questions. The oil sometimes can be heard if the oil is in a can. I have pictures of "Fedex" regulations, mineral oil MSDS, ADOT's classification of mineral oil. And still I get the agent that thinks this can not be shipped. Depending on the day, I may take the time to educate them on their job, or when they ask what I am shipping I just say electrical insulation. Which is the truth.

To make shipping simple use the shippers web sight, print your label and drop off your package at the carrier. I do the same weather USPS, UPS or Fedex. Also you may save money. The closest UPS store near me wanted to charge a third more to use them as a drop off for a scope. The lady tells me how do you think we make our money. I also saw them deny shipping to a gentleman who declared he was shipping spent 357 cases. The best I heard is to declare you are shipping a "pneumatic hole punch"
