How heavy can you go?

HW97KT rifle--------Im probably crazy,
but ive been known to Lobb a heavy 45-70 round out of my BP- twap-doa out to 300 yards,

so ive been sitting here eyeing my home grown cast "22 Hornet" rounds,
pellet rifle--springer rifle, puff-popper,,,

did some measuring, they measure the same, but a wicked difference in weight, 14.5gn on the RWS and a whopping 38.9gn on the hornets,

Hmmmmm Lobbin-Rounds? out to 20 yrds?
10 yard squirrel smackers?

might need a "Tang Sight"
or will i unspring my spring and send pieces of it coiled up in opposite directions of the tube, crying

maybe it will pop out like a cork gun and just drop onto the floor and the back pressure-burp will blow out the seals,

what say you all?

Personally, I wouldn't use them in that rifle. Much too heavy for any practical use.

If you want to experiment to that degree,I would suggest using a much less expensive rifle from one of the "Big Box Stores".

Don't mean to rain on your parade (or be a jerk),just suggesting an alternative. Your HW97 is a Beautiful rifle designed to perform Very well within it's intended parameters.
