How far can i push my hand pump?

I just checked mine and the red zone is like yours from 2-300 BAR. I remember when I got it second hand about four years ago that there was conflicting information on what the max pressure was but as I said, I regularly took it to 250 BAR without any problems. I checked the site that you got yours from and it is the same unit as mine. I don't exactly know where its made but I'm fairly sure that it is not Chinese. I think it is made by whoever makes the Benjamen ones. Don't take any notice of that mumbo jumbo about heat causing moisture. That is a myth that needs debunking. Overheating may damage the O-rings, nothing else.

Hi, I dont own any PCP guns at this time but am in the process of researching. The guns themselves are expensive and buying a SCBA tank doubles the cost so I was considering a hand pump. I see lots of vids and have two friends that put their hand pumps on a gear motor to pump them under power rather than muscle. I see the big issue with that is the heating of the pump. My thought is can the pump be water cooled? Maybe place it in a tank of water or spray water over it? Maybe that is a dumb question but it is coming from my ignorance so please be kind and explain why this is possible or not possible.

I have squba big tank, medium size Omega tank and two small Airventury tanks.

I also have the Supercharger Omega Compressor (now at the service for rapair).

The bottle neck is the compressor. Once it fails you only count with the air in storage.

Because I have to administer the Air I still have in the tanks, I decided to refill my rifles with the handpump. Then I realized that the effort on the market should be made to improve and made easier the hand pumping.

It is croud to make a big investment buying a compressor and become 100% dependable of such artificial aid.

I am convinced that instead of buying more compressors to have as fallback, the smart effort is to work on made easier for anyone the hand pumping. I am 59 years old and I am planning to keep using my PCP´s with and/or without a compressor.

I made some changes that I made you available yesterday in this forum. But for sure more improvements can be done.
