How do you keep track of "guesses" in these give aways?

I was just curious about how these "give aways" keep track of the entries (guesses at numbers usually).

Seems it would be quite a task to do it manually if there are a large number of entries.

Is there an easy way?

I am asking because I might give something away in the future, but don't want it to take up too much of my time.

I just use my zip code with a decimal in it. It’s possible somebody could use the same number, but pretty unlikely. And it’s easy to remember, even at my age .

Thanks, but I wasn't asking about how to guess a number. I was asking how to keep track of guesses if I were to be giving away an item in a raffle.

Seems it would be a lot of trouble, unless there is an easy way?

I've wondered the same thing. Maybe Michael will chime in. I will say he's missed my guess quite a few times but I was one of the early lucky ones way back when. The odds of getting drawn on going down with all the new members we have now. Back when I drew there was only three of us..

I have decided not to offer a P17 in a raffle. Not because it would cost me shipping, but keeping up with the guesses would be a nightmare.

As to winning any raffle here... call me Charley Brown. (chuckle)
