How did you mount a Picatinny Rail - Veteran Shorty

yep center it drill it use good screws that stocks got some meat there 

There are several cheap picatinny rail extension on eBay that would easily mount under there with a couple machine screws. It would be ideal to drill the holes and countersink nuts up inside of the foregrip for strength.

Measure twice, drill once. Epoxy is pretty much forever and you could seat it flush if confident with a router and stock in gun vice but I hate hand routers. Tasmanian devil like torque.

I use a 3 inch pic rail drill 2 screws , with a nut like this , I then epoxy it into wood , and then I use blue locktight or nail polish on threads so they never loosten
